What exactly is tube forming?
Tube forming is a process in which tubes or tube sections are formed into their desired shape using various techniques. In contrast to tube bending parts, various processes can be used, including axial forming and roller burnishing.
In axial forming, we shape tubes into a specific form by pressing them through a die. This technology enables us to realize complex shapes and precise geometries. During roller burnishing, the tube is deformed by rolling, which changes its shape and size. This process is particularly suitable for the production of threads, grooves or other connecting elements.
In both cases, we use tube forming to adapt tubes to specific requirements or to produce complex components that are used in various industries.
